About the job: BRAND MANAGER – COLOUR
The Brand Manager will support planning and execute and deliver the brand marketing plans across the 360 touch points agreed with the Marketing Manager. A 360-role giving opportunity to be involved across all aspects of the brand and product campaigns. Communicating plans internally and externally across all stakeholders.
The Brand Manager will support the Marketing Manager in day to day management and ad hoc projects.
RESPONSIBILTIES AND KEY TASKS
1. Marketing Calendar: Work with the Marketing Manager to plan, implement and execute marketing and promotional calendar for relevant brands to Company standards. Maintaining the marketing calendar throughout the year.
2. Trade Sales and Marketing Tools: Ensure all trade-marketing tools are available to field management. i.e. presentations, trade marketing calendar, point of sale material, order forms etc.
3. Promotions: Direct Retail Merchandising Managers in the running of all in store promotions.
4. Visual Merchandising: Ensure merchandising of brand(s) is in line with individual Brand Strategy and Guide lines.
5. Budget Management: Support Marketing Manager in the management and monitoring of the brand budgets and forecasts. Raising PO’s and using financial trackers to report monthly.
6. Brand Reporting: Support Marketing Manager in the communication and reporting to brand owners.
7. Sales Analysis & campaign feedback: Responsible for ensuring that sell in and sell out information is tracked especially for new launches and special events as directed by the Marketing Manager.
8. Stakeholder relationship management: Build relationships with key retailer marketing functions to support brand planning and execution.
9. Press & Influencer Relationship: Develop and execute PR/ influencer plans with the appointed agency in line with the marketing calendar.
10. Media: Support media planning and execute as agreed.
11. Analysis: Analyse the products and instore success in to be able to provide the senior team with clear analytical feedback on performance to influence future strategy
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:
1. Execute the marketing calendar for brand inline with the agreed strategy across 360 touch points.
2. Promote team building among other Brand Managers, sharing projects where relevant.
3. Support the Marketing Manager in all aspects of communicating brand(s) externally and internally, always acting as a brand champion.
4. Support Marketing Manager in day-to-day management of the brand -including but not limited to communication with field management, trade marketing execution, retailer meetings.
5. Ad hoc projects as directed by Marketing Manager
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
1. Degree educated, preferably in business or marketing
2. Team Player with a collaborative attitude
3. Minimum of 2 years’ work experience
in Colour Marketing
4. Good communication skills, fluent English, written and verbal
5. PC skills - excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook
6. Numerate and analytical
7. Knowledge of UK retail landscape and market
8. High level of drive and commitment with a sense of entrepreneurial spirit
9. Flexible working patterns with good organisational and administrative skills
